Je to jarní květenka – několik žlutých barevných teček se pak znovu objevuje ke konci časného podzimu. – V návaznosti na jemný bílo-fialový závoj Wiesenschaumkraut [řeřišnice luční] (''Cardamine pratensis'') pokrývají se v dubnu louky, pastviny, meze zlatožlutou přikrývkou rozkvétajícího löwenzahnu [pampelišky lékařské]. Děje se to právě v tom okamžiku, kdy země ze svého zimního stažení vydechuje opět do okruhu své duševně-duchovní bytí. Moře löwenzahnblüten [pampeliškových květů] se jeví jako obraz tohoto znovuspojení země a kosmu. Tak rychle jak se koncem března objevil, tak rychle mizí koncem dubna z dohledu ve prospěch nyní rychle narůstající okolní trávy a bylin. Po celý rok následující po kvetení soustřeďuje a zachovává síly z kosmu a země, jež pak, pod paprsky stoupajícího jarního slunce příštího roku, náhle přes noc, vlna za vlnou, vyráží stonky květů do výše. Ty nesou vzhůru poupata, která se otvírají na širokém, daleko rozkládajícím se blütenböden [lůžku květním] a obracejí košík plný paprskových kvítků ke slunci.
 V Deutsch (de)Der Löwenzahn offenbart in allen seinen Gliedern eine Fülle von Phänomenen, die erstaunen lassen und auf einen einzigartigen Charakter hinweisen, der ihn selbst aus der Besonderheit der ''Kompositen''familie (Korbblütler) heraushebt. Er ist ein Frühjahrsblüher – wenige gelbe Farbtupfer finden sich dann nochmal gegen den Frühherbst. – Dem zarten weiß-violetten Schleier des Wiesenschaumkrautes (''Cardamine pratensis'') folgend, überziehen sich im April die Wiesen, Weiden, Wegraine mit einer goldgelben Decke des aufblühenden Löwenzahns. Dies geschieht just in dem Augenblick, wo die Erde aus ihrer winterlichen Zurückgezogenheit ihr seelisch-geistiges Sein wieder in den Umkreis ausatmet. Das Meer von Löwenzahnblüten erscheint wie ein Bild dieser Wiederverbindung von Erde und Kosmos. So schnell er Ende März erschienen ist, so schnell verschwindet er Ende April dem Blick durch die nun rasch aufwachsenden Nachbargräser und -kräuter. Über das ganze auf die Blüte folgende Jahr konzentriert und bewahrt er die Kräfte aus Kosmos und Erde, die dann, unter den Strahlen der aufsteigenden Frühjahrssonne des nächsten Jahres, plötzlich über Nacht, Welle um Welle, die Blütenstiele emporschießen lassen. Sie tragen die Blütenknospen empor, die sich auf dem breit ausladenden Blütenboden öffnen und den Korb voller Strahlenblüten der Sonne zuwenden.

It is a spring bloomer — a few yellow splashes of colour appear again towards early autumn. — Following the delicate white-violet veil of the cuckoo flower (''Cardamine pratensis''), the meadows, pastures, and roadsides cover themselves in April with a golden-yellow carpet of dandelions coming into bloom. This happens precisely at the moment when the earth breathes out its soul-spiritual being once more into the periphery from its wintry withdrawal. The sea of dandelion blossoms appears as an image of this reconnection of earth and cosmos. As quickly as it appeared at the end of March, so quickly does it vanish from sight at the end of April behind the neighbouring grasses and herbs now growing swiftly up around it. Through the whole year following the blossom, it concentrates and preserves the forces from cosmos and earth which then, under the rays of the ascending spring sun of the following year, cause the flower stalks to shoot upward suddenly overnight, wave upon wave. They carry the flower buds upward, which open on the broadly spreading receptacle and turn the basket full of ray florets towards the sun.

C'est une fleur de printemps – quelques touches de jaune se retrouvent encore au début de l'automne. – Après le délicat voile blanc-violet de la cardamine des prés (''Cardamine pratensis''), les prairies, les pâturages, les bords de chemins se couvrent en avril d'un tapis jaune d'or de pissenlits en fleur. Cela se produit précisément au moment où la terre, sortant de son retrait hivernal, exhale à nouveau son être animique et spirituel dans l'atmosphère environnante. La mer de fleurs de pissenlit apparaît comme une image de cette reconnexion de la terre et du cosmos.
