My soul-experience lays itself open into stillness of thought and movement of will. In this field of tension, which builds itself up with the advancing formation of the vortex, my feeling can unfold itself, independent of thinking and willing, in soul-purity and openness to spirit. Moments of heightened presence of mind can then arise. I can then experience myself, between stillness and movement, as one with the outer event. I am in the midst of it. Here — in this sense-free feeling brought about by one's own activity — lies what is perhaps the deepest source from which I can draw an inspirative certainty for the truth of the path I have taken.
