In the third step of the preparation, a third process of inversion and emancipation unfolds (Figure 32, p. 423). What through the summer half-year hung above the earth — in the «belly of the agricultural individuality» — exposed to the peripheral forces of the planetary cosmos, is now exposed to the forces that work from the sphere of the fixed stars by way of the earth, in the earthy-watery element. Whereas in summer it is predominantly astral forces that ray in from the solar sphere and the planetary spheres and impress themselves into the substance of the dandelion flowers by way of the animal organ-sheaths, so in winter, within the earth, it is above all I-forces working from the higher spiritual world that form themselves into the flower substance.
