«...in a very fine way applies this diluted juice of the valerian blossom, to call forth in it that which stimulates it to behave in the right way towards what is called phosphoric substance».[1] This sentence already indicates that the juice pressed from the valerian blossom is not subjected to any further preparation steps, except for the one measure that the mother tincture should be diluted with warm water before use. The riddle of what is at issue here must be unlocked, on the one hand, by what the phenomenal form of the valerian plant (Valeriana officinalis) reveals, and on the other hand, by what insights can be gained from spiritual research.
