This united individual, few people who remained unrecognised and who — unlike, for example, Paracelsus (1493–1541) — did not come forward outwardly through a teaching, but placed themselves selflessly in the service of their fellow human beings out of spiritual inspirations, hidden from view. Further Rosicrucian writings, presumably from the same author, Valentin Andreae (1586–1654), appeared — the Fama Fraternitatis in 1614 (addressed to the «heads, estates, and scholars of Europe»), the Confessio in 1615, and in 1617 the Allgemeine und Generalreformation der ganzen Welt (Universal and General Reformation of the Whole World). In this «General Reformation» out of the spirit of Rosicrucianism, those impulses stepped forth again from concealment that had quietly laid, in the fifteenth century, the seed for the threefoldness of social life in the free economic village communities.
