The principle of the farm organism was upheld by the representatives of agricultural farm management in Germany into the 1950s. This occurred with the inclusion of all the technological achievements of the time, in particular «Mineraldüngung» (mineral fertilisation) and here with special emphasis on the targeted application of synthetically produced nitrogen salts. But then the red thread of Western-Christian farming broke off for good. From the beginning of the 1960s, the concept of the farm organism fell away, and in its place stepped the concept of system.
