The idea of the farm individuality — graspable in spirit, real in spirit — opens to the understanding eye the gates into every domain of agriculture; it gathers these domains together as organs of an essential whole — this will be illustrated exemplarily in the chapter on the question of manuring. This demands a change of mind from the ground up. The dual relation of human being and world in the sciences, which methodically excludes the spiritual-soul of the knowing and morally acting human being, can be overcome. This is all the more the case when one allows this great web of ideas, deriving from the human being, to become deed in thinking. In the doing its fruitfulness proves itself — and through that fruitfulness, its truth.
