Human work carries all the facets of the moral workings of the lower, body-bound I out into the world. These are then co-shaped by the human wish-nature, by arbitrariness, impulses of power, and the like. The egoism holding sway from that quarter can be overcome in transformation when, through the spiritual force of the higher I, the soul gains mastery over the body.
