Feeling in Equality

Every agricultural operation is embedded in the general legal order. Through the law, this creates equality before rights. Equality is a high good — but the question is: how consciously does the principle of equality live in human beings? Does it live by the compulsion of law from without, addressing the intellect alone — or is it the sense of reason that awakens from within the ideal of equality to life? In the first case, anonymity prevails in the relationship of person to person; the rights can be enforced, one demands one's right.
